Hi Could Any One Tell Me If The Newer Evo Alternators Will Fit My IV Mine's Blown ...............thinking About Using The X Alternator

Not sure but as Lee has said ... Stick with fitting s 4/5/6 alternator

hi

cant you get it rebuilt/ repaired , had mine done last year for £60 . the regulater went pop :O(


was told at the time that the e4 had higher amp alternator than the later evo's so worth checking :O)

Thank's guy's for the bit, but a strange thing happening I recharged the battery an checked the charging it went back up it's been this way for the past few days whats with that ?

hi buddy , you could have a loose wire some where ???

when my regulator was playing up it would be fine for days then just stop charging , dim light on the dash , then rev it hard or turn off and restart and it would be fine again

then one day the light came on and stayed on :O(

took it off and got it checked out , faulty regulator.

so just keep a eye on it :O)

Lol, i love the jump from the IV alternator straight to a X's, who's has a completely different engine. You should be able to fit any alternator from a 4G63.

was thinking about the higher amperage, also it way newer thanks anyway...........
