Hi guys sold my r32 gtr and looking to get back into a Evo. I have found a 7 gsr with 40,000 miles with suspension and normal mods, just wanted to know if the seven had any prob s and what boost they could run ?? Thanks again

Hi mate,acd pumps can be week but I guess this is the same for any model. Mine is running safely at 1.6bar

only difference to the 7 is the pesky egr system... sometimes causing issues if you want pops/bangs
Apart from that its the same as any evo ...
If running more boost than std 0.8bar a remap is suggested but safe upto 1.7bar

Hi Bud,

I've had my 7 for nearly 4yrs now, currently at 50k miles.
Rusty rear arches is an issue, check them now and get it undersealed in that area asap or costly repairs coming up.
The following parts have failed on mine so far:
Gearbox
Clutch
Warpped brake discs
AYC pump
G sensors
Turbo actuator
Various suspension / anti roll bar rubber bushes
Mine has been running 1.65 bar for years with no issues putting out 370bhp with sports cat and skunk 2 cams. Would be around 380 bhp with decat.
