Evo X - What Tyres?

Probably been asked before, but what tyres come recommended? The wear rate on the Yokohama Advans that came as standard on my Evo X FQ300 is grim - new tyres needed after just 6k miles (from looking around wear rate seems to be an issue with these tyres). Been considering either the Bridgestone S001 or Michelin PIlot Sport 3's as replacements, as they seem to have better wear rates.
I don't do track days but want a good overall tyre that still enables me to get a bit of fun but with a better wear rate.

Anyone any commenst on the above 2 tyres or have any other recommendations? Thanks

Yoko AD08's i would suggest. dont wear too quickly and offer fantastic grip levels

S001s there pretty good but i like the pilot sports just not the price,,lol!!

I can vouch for the pilot sports. I had the ps2 on my car and now running Goodyear F1 asyemetrics and the grip is nearly as good but the wear rate isn't I can tell you. Pilot sport 2 lasted much longer.

Interesting about the AD08's as had read up on them and dismissed them, maybe I'll look again. From the stuff I read, I was tossing up between Bridgestone S001's and the Michelin Pilot Sports, but from the comments looks like the Michelin's win (know what you mean about the price though..... )

i just brought set of goodyear ragle f1 a2's and i am likin them alot...
these are on my e8 fq 340
