Good afternoon all,
I've had the red triangle exclamation mark come up to the Evo this week and from looking in the manual it's showing as a timing chain issue. Reading various forums, these need to be replaced at approx. 60,000 miles.
Mine's only done 32k, so bit concerned that it could be another issue? I've stopped driving it until I get it sorted.
I've also asked an Evo specialist garage who advised me "9 times out of 10 it isn't a sensor fault and the belt needs replacing". They are quoting £850 + VAT.
Does anyone think that it could be something else? or has anyone else had to replace theirs at this early mileage?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated....
Many thanks in advance.
