Evo X Sst

Hi Guys, recently picked up a 2009 EVO FQ 300 SST. Noticed an audible clunk when engaging reverse and also when stopping with box in auto. Is this normal? Being honest never had an auto before let alone SST. Is this normal?

Welcome to the Forum buddy.

The car is still under warranty so it will be best to take it to your nearest dealership and get it rectified.

It is not normal. They may tell you it is a "characteristic" of your vehicle!!! If they do, tell them to try it on some other mug!!!

Your selector is not engaging correctly.

Thanks ElDopesta, much appreciated. I guess I can expect some transmission noise but it does seem a bit too loose. 888
