evo x - his cat a full janspeed exhaust - over boost?

Hi all. I have a 2008 evo x fq300. Fitted a janspeed exhaust at first. No issues. But since fitting a hks cat too I find from cold ( well sat for the usual ten or fifteen mins to warm up) it will throw the engine management light on with over boost. Has anyone experienced this before? I'm assuming as its breathing better its boosting real quick.

It's to do with the flow I think as when I put exhaust on mine no issue but with my K&N typhoon induction I kept over boosting , only way round is mapping mate

Trouble is you pay for there ecutec licence , Gaz @ GR PERFORMANCE IS GOOD

Yeh mate he's just done mine as I've just put new tubular manifold,turbo elbow,3"down pipe & decat so needed a map , he kept it safe though so not to worry about rods , 380bhp & a safe 330 torque & £200 cheaper as he bench maps them without paying for silly ecu tec licence
