I just paid about £120 for 6 months think it's £210 for 12. Just beware it all depends how it was registered when imported as you can become stung and get an evo in a higher tax bracket

Isn't it 2006 where the tax bracket goes up? Or it late 2005?

Yours is taxed on emissions as its a proper uk car.
Some post march 2001 cars are subject to higher tax which is where yours is. Others like mine being an import is £225 a year. Then march 2006 it changes again. For example a 2008 uk fq360 is over £400 a year to tax.
And I'm sure I did see once someone had a car which was made pre 2006 like a evo 7 but was imported after march 2006 and got stung for £400 a year tax.

Its luck of the draw really.

You can check the cost of a car if you have its reg number by doing a free vehicle check on the direct.gov website

That was it 2006, as for the proper uk and emissions sure they don't know with the evo. I say that because they treat my car like its an import, still write LPG on the tax disk. Something that stopped on uk cars after 2001 unless its a bus.

As lee said seems to be luck of the draw so worth checking it out. I thought imports were lucky and fell into lower brackets but that would be wrong if someone is paying out £400 on a evo 7!

Jcworldno1 has a 260 so his is done on emissions :)

Yep mine says plg also and pay £225 a year even though its a late 2001 car on a 51 plate. First registered in uk 2004 :)
