Evo viii power loss

Hi

Since Monday i seem to have developed a fault that just cleared literally tonight but worried it might come back.

If I accelerated very very very slowly I could get past the 2k rev Mark.. Otherwise it was just coughing and spluttering and total power loss.

I checked all wiring was tight tonight and since then seems to be ok..

Any ideas?

Coughing spluttering, maybe popping exhaust more than normal?? If so sounds like when I forgot to plug in my maf once before, sounds like a scooby
