evo VIII gearbox problem please help

i have an evo 8 wrc 350, i was givin it some the other day down geared to overtake and ever since the gearbox has been screaming, not sure if its the gearbox or the transfer box but you can hear it all the way down the propshaft any suggestions?

I would drop it down to a miti specialist asap. Dont risk damaging it further. Possibly just a bearing gone but you stand to do more damage if its not looked at.
