Hi all as above is there any way to check my turbo as I thinks its shot?

Boost up and down and ticking when spooling also seems to be a lot of play in shaft

Is the play up n down or in and out?
Are you running standard power?

Up and Down and think down on power mate

You will get some up n down movement (unless enough so blades hit housing),its in and out you need to worry about.
Have you checked for boost leaks and actuator operation?

All new hoses and recently had intercooler off to clean off old paint so would be surprised if I did have a leak. Not sure how to check actuator tho mate.

See it you can get a mitrevac and use pressure to see what the actuator opens at if it holds pressure
