Hi all,

I went to see an EVO 7 yesterday, car was advertised as a FQ 300.
However, the car didn't feature any FQ300 badging (apart from the boot) or number out of -- silver panel near the gear box, or carbon spoiler inserts.

The V5C and VOSA form showed no mileage history prior to 2008 as it was imported, but the car has
only done 42,000

Seems obvious, but is this car more likely a Japanese GSR Import not an FQ300?

The other paperwork for the car was at the owners house so I wasnt able to see it, if the car is an import what documents should I be looking out?
Many thanks

All evo's are imports, they turn them into the FQ range when they are over here.
If it was a FQ300 and be classed as a uk car it should have the number, I woundn't get to worried about the log book as they messed them up when registering them, as for the vosa of course they wouldn't know if the cars a import if the mileage is geniune etc...

If it was a geniune FQ 300 it would not be imported in 2008.

My logbook is the most incomplete one I've ever seen, all it tells you about the car is that it's a Mitsubishi nothing about the model. lol

Contact a Mitsubishi dealer they will be able to tell you if it's a UK FQ model.
