Calling all EVO VI experts.. Im after one at the moment and have no idea of what to look out for?

Are there any common faults or issues i should look out for or anything that might need attention after a certain mileage?

All the cars im looking at at the moment are around 50000miles and the place im getting one from are doing the cambelt and selling with 1years parts and labour warranty from themselves a repuatable jap tuner/importers.

Your views please guys the more info the better my future is in your hands

Hi mate where abouts are you thinking of getting car from and a rough price if you dont mind, reason for asking is there are some really good deals to be had at the moment from private sellers rather than stealers sorry dealers lol. and will be very well looked after and will have been modified allready so should save you a few pounds in the future should you want to up the horse power etc...

SVA imports..DOVER in Kent all the 80000km ones are between £7500-8000 except the TME's which are £10000 and over they all appear to be 99' cars

Are you sure? i thought that sounded about right these are EVO 6 GSR's with 50000 miles on the clock made uk compliant,registered with aftermarket exhausts,a years ticket,6 months tax and years warranty and a scotia white one just went for £7500.. If you know of anything cheaper id be interested

And a new cambelt !
