Evo V & VI price and where to buy

Hello all, well after a bit of reading on the net I've gone off an evo 4 for the simple reason of the crank walking ...

So I think it's going to be a 5 or 6, prices seem to vary a lot

Just after an idea will I manage to get one for 3-4k ??
How much does a cheap one go for ?

Where is the best place to look ?

I've got an eye on eBay and piston heads and the sale bit on here but havnt seen a lot,

Evo 4's seem to be cheap one on eBay ATM for 2.5k but looks like a dawg and it's a 4 !!

Any ideas

Please no comment on how I'm not spending enough or such

Hi,for a V,you need would be lucky to get a clean one for less than about 4.5-5k tbh,ALOT of dealers often either don't know what they are selling or just make it up,what's your budget? For a VI you should probably be looking at another 1k I'd say.
If you find any then post them up and we can try and help you.

Thanks bud, thing is I'm looking for a V that maybe is not in 100% cosmetic condition, main thing I'm looking for is one with a good engine and drivetrain, suspension - bushes etc will get changed anyway, looking for one for santa pod streetcars show this year then do some local hill climbs close to me,

Just keep an eye out mate a sold mine to a guy for 3800 and it was the cleanest 5 a had seen apexi avcr hks induction and hard pipe kit blitz nur spec r turbo back interior was amazing condition full history all belts done and only had 75k on the clock so you do get them out there just need to wait it out
