Evo TD05HR turbo

I have just purchased a td05hr 16g 9.8t turbo for a project car (non evo)

couple of things im struggling on,

will the turbo only run one way?

can I put a single scroll housing on it? or run a single manifold with a twin scroll housing?

Yes only run 1 way because the blades are designed that way.
Keep with the twin scroll its better.

What evo turbos are good for 300bhp+ and single scroll?

Really? I seen some evo turbos that only look single? Evo 4s maybe..

I want single because I havent got a twin scroll mani. Plus its npt on an evo so makes it harder.

Evo 1-3 run opposite to 4-9 turbos
No turbo runs both directions...

Why did you buy a turbo without knowing what you needed?????

Cause I thought it would work but my battery is in the way so I will have to keep it oem. I was told you can turn the turbo round but obviously not.. I can just sell it.

You can't just turn it around because the exhaust to turbo would be different and the actuator prob wouldn't fit between turbo and engine.
If your fitting a td05h you could consider a Scooby turbo as they run the same setup. But you'd need to check the flange type from your exhaust manifold...
