Evo spoiler

Hello all as you know i have a evo 7 i am wanting to buy a 9 spoiler will this fit were the old 7 spoiler is?

Ye it fits no problems mate but you'll have two holes in the boot as the 7 spoiler has 3 bolts holding it in place

hmmmm what can be done about the two holes and do you know were they would be ?

Either get an 8 or 9 boot to go with it or get the holes filled in and re-painted, if you look at where your spoiler mounts to the boot it is wider than an 8/9 spoiler, the two holes that will be showing are the ones that are more towards the centre of the boot if that makes sense? The other two are on the edges and line up no problem

Thanks very much for that yep i get what you mean so really for a proper job might as well change the boot lid.

No worries mate, Ye it would be the best way I would have thought, just don't get a boot of an 8 GSR otherwise you'll have another hole in the middle where the low level spoiler sits haha

HAHAHA... cheers just a matter of finding one at a good price as it will need a respray as well with my paint work been pearl white

Try Japperformanceparts mate,google them,my mate has just got a VI bootlid minus the spoiler for £100 cash as long as he picked it up which he did.

Funny you bring there name up i sent them a message not had a reply yet they got a white 9 in looking at the pics the boot lid and spoiler look A1 there a bit far from me but i am sure they would post?
