Evo on 2 cylinders? Help Please?

Hi im new to this forum.

Have a Evo 7 and recently lost power to one coil pack. I went got another coil pack which didnt cure the problem.

Im thinking ECU (standard ECU)

Help appreciated

have you checked for power to the coils and earths

Won't be the ecu. Most likely a connection or relay. Fuse box under the bonnet.
Flash codes out by shorting pin 1+4 on obd port

Were do these codes flash up????

Yea I know have three coil packs, they all work on the passenger side. The drivers side coil pack can be unplugged and car still runs the same..........

there should be a live a earth and a signal wire to each coil . compare the working side to the non working side and work back from there . could be as simple as broken wire .

Have you had a compression test done as i had a G60 which was firing on 2 cylinders and turned out it was a cylinder and valve problem!
