Evo IX lights

Well I guess same for xii and xiii too.

Not had my evo ix long, wne t out for first night time drive yesterday.

The car comes with xenons.

I turned the lights on side lights, a faint yellow; moved to dipped lights a lovely sharp white then full beam back to yellow again, wtf is going on!! lol

I guess previous owner has played around.

So what i would like is a nice cool white beam from side lights, dipped and full beam.

I don't think they have a HID conversion.

So what do I need to check?

What bulbs are standard, side, dip and full?

What should I be looking at buying as replacements to get a consisteny white colour thorugh all ranges as well as good visibility?

Piaa bulbs mate !

I had the side light bulbs and they are perfect match to the dipped beam

You can buy main beam bulbs from them to which will match

i got the dodgy yellow ones as sides too so im gonna grab some from a site that geoff didnt reccomend i hear bad things of the xenon shop lol

i've made an enquiry to xenonshop are they to be avoided then?

If so I will go for piaa.

Do we know what bulbs are standard so I can order the right replacements such as H1 / HB whatever?

Side lights look a little tricky to replace, is that a big job?

i would leave the hid as they are and swop the side and main beam for some led bulbs, only cost you about £25 for all of them

Side lights look a little tricky to replace, is that a big job?

Side light bulbs are replaced by dropping the wheel arch liner 2 clips and a screw iirc then you will have acces to the side lights. Approximately 2 minutes a side to do, easy

That was my thought leave Xenons as they are and replace side/main beam and for good measure go for number plate and reversing. I'd like as cool bright white as I can but emphasise on improved visibility :0
