Evo IV Key Coding

hi all could anyone tell me if the keys evo iv are coded or not, or can they be programmed easily , also ive been advice to replace my ecu with one from a 5 or 6 are the keys programmed to a ecu

They are not coded

ok thanks, just a need to get a spare key and mine has one button in the middle which works my central locking how would that be programed thanks

That would be just central locking only, the 5/6 ecus have no immobilisers, only the 7/8/9 do
