Evo HKS stroker engine

Hello to everyone as this is my first post,

do you believe is a good choice to buy an HKS 2.3L stroker engine (HKS: Cams, Valvetrain, injectors, fuel pump, turbo kit, pistons, rods, crank, wategate etc)? Around 600BHP

I am thinking to buy a brand new engine like the above for my evo. What is your opinion about these engines?

I remember seeing a hks engine advertised on ebay recently for approx £10k.

Personnally I think there are better specced engines, that are just as reliable out there.

Considering its new, then yes £10k is a bargain to the right buyer.

All depends on if it suits your needs and what you intend to use it for etc.

If its for fast road and occasional track use im sure that would be very suitable.

If its just a weekend toy or a daily driver, its allot of money to invest for very little gain.

Ultimatley its your money, your car and your choice.

the hks engine was on 7.5k with no bids 2 weeks ago, came down from 9.5k from last auction.
ya get turbo, ecu with it too.
wish i'd got the pennies for it, might have to go on the dole i'd probably get a loan for it then off the social.
