hi lads and lassys i am wondering wot to do my engine on its way out as it has devloped a knock evo iv just wondering wich will be the best to do. get compleat engine with all ancillerres or just block and head then i am left with all evo iv bits wot bits would be best to get with another engine or should i bite the bullet and pay 2.5 k for all bits off evo 5678 wich parts can i use and still be safe off the iv :sad::hm:

All ancillaries will transfer over from the 4 to a 9

Which ever you do is down to money and choice....

5/6/7 engines running around 360-380bbhp and 1.5-1.6 bar boost on std internals safely
8/9 engines running around 360-400bhp and 1.7 bar boost on std internals safely
9 mivec engine will see 400+ 1.7bar boost on std internals

However it is the common thing for people to get there engines forged if you want to see over 400bhp all tho not necessary if you want to push the boundaries

go for an 8mr or 9 engine, they have thicker rods so you can say hello to 400bhp nicely
