Welcome along Pal!

Civic's cant be compared to evos because they are totally different. Power is far less regardless of what civic owners say and he list gets bigger from there.........

Keep an Evo service when it should be and with the right stuff (oils etc etc) and you will have happy motoring :)

I did get mine recovered one time (snapped cambelt, different story lol) and the guy said that it wasn't common at all to see the likes of an evo on the back of a truck and mine was the first one he had been called to (still didn't feel privileged though haha) :)

To be fair, if you prefer the old shape over the new one, I would look at the VI's many will already have stage 1 mods, but with the VI onwards engine, you can do a rod change (rod job) without taking all the engine out and apart, making it capable of roundabout 550bhp with supporting mods (safely)

one other question do any of you people have the clifford alarm blackjax on your evo`s?? the only reason im asking is will prob put one on but dont like that fact that you have to change the valet switch because of it wearing out then you would be knackered do any of you have these problems?? as security would be a concern

I would give paceward a call mate.

They offer really good cover and the prices are pretty good (in my experience) and I am sure they don't request you have a tracker :)

However good the evo maybe, personally, I wouldn't feel I could justify £2k insurance to be honest.

The Civic is only better than the Evo if fuel costs are paramount.

Other than that, the Evo will always be a far more superior machine.
