EVO 9 Lighting

Right... One of my side lights has just decided to go, so thought that whilst i was going to change it i may as well swap it with a brighter light. Maybe do he main beams aswell to match the xenons.

Can anyone give some insight in what the sidelight bulbs are (W5W??),and the main beams?


I take it that it is simply unclipping the wheel arch to access the headlight to change all bulbs?

Appologies for sounding a little clueless, but ive just spent 15 minutes going through the manual and coudn't find bugger all.

Yh it's through the wheelacrch mate unless you want to take the bumper off to take light off

Sod that.... can you access all light bulbs through the arch?

Yes either under bonnet or in arch you can access all between the two

If you want brighter main lights, I'd recommend upgrading to HIDs.
Swap the sidelights to led at the same time.

I did that with my CTR.

Probably will end up upgrading the main beams to HIDs and getting some led side lights.

Before i make the wrong assumption... I'm changing my sidelights to LED's and wanted to make sure that they are 501 w5w bulbs???

I'm not being lazy just not near my car for a couple of weeks :sad:
