Evo 9 fq340 down on power

Last night car seemed to be down on power and seems to be hissing a lot on boost had a quick look tonight and all turbo pipes seem to be fine,anyone have a idea or know of common problems??

Sounds like boost leak. Have another look

That's wot I was thinking,will have a better look tomorrow,the main pipes all seemed on and tight maybe one has a split, will have to rip it apart and have good look

Was lied awake this morning ticking away thinking so had to go down workshop at 6 am can't have the old girl not rite, ripped of the top hard pipe off and found that the 90 bend of the EGR valve had snapped off so got the welder out and sizzled it back on temporary till I can get a new on and she flys again!anyone got a good used one??as I know a new one will cost a mint!

You can remove the egr or I can sell you a replacement

Are you on about the sas value? And not the egr valve

I think it's the EGR,there is a metal pipe from the exhaust manifold in into one side and a rubber pipe into the bottom of it from the top boost hard pipe,it is located just above the thermostat,haven't had the car long so still finding my way around it if that makes sense and its run like a clock until now

Yea it's basically an egr but called SAS secondary air system on evo

The egr valve is located under the throttle body on the inlet manifold

Not had chance to read the rest of the posts yet, but this is what happened to mine
I struggled to drive up to mates garage (25-30mph in 6th and stopping uphill to let others past)! lol
