Hi andy!

Are you the only guy that comes on this forum! Haha. Im lookin at a set for 225 second hand off an e9. Thing is i bought them so too kne to know if i been done. Nearly got all the bits i need and ive decided to go cpp for remap though the lovely chap there reckons my apexi avcr controller isnt needed! I reckon should have done more forum reading before buyin everything.

Any suggestions on brakes?

Ha ha yeah i think so, iv noticed its been a bit quiet lately aswell, im pretty sure 7/8/9 are all the same....dont quote me on that one tho, the fella i got mine off wrote his 8 off 5 days after buying it and just wanted every thing gone, got 2 skirts, 2 front doors, mirror, bilstiens, a/c pump, head lining and a couple of other bits for £220. Where you from? Cpp done my gearbox rebuild and transfer box, they were very helpfull and brilliant service! Iv spoke to the about mapping mine hes recomended me to fit valve springs if i fit my hks 272s so i dont know what to do as im saving for a house and dont want to spend mega bucks....i didnt know anything about evos before i bought one even tho im a mechanic ha ha as for brakes iv still got standard brembos on but depends on budget really....they can cost thousands for a propper set! But if its just a road car id just buy grooved discs and performance pads, i dont tend to buy drilled as they somtimes crack from the holes.

If they are still yellow and not crispy you're looking around. 200-250
If they are crispy anything from 100 as they front cups have been known to brake
