Hi there, need some technical information. I'm currently doing a Evo 6 exterior conversion. I have the fronts sorted out, but having a bit of issues on the rear setup.

I'm using Evo 8 rear subframe, arms, hubs, rear diff(non-ayc),driveshafts. Basically complete rear end. I'm using this to make up for the wider track on the rear compare to the standard Evo 4. Everything fits nicely.

My question is, would my propshaft be the correct length? The standard Evo 4 propshaft.

Cheers.

Ok let me try this, when you guys upgrade from ayc rear diff to the RS diff do you have to use the propshaft from the RS Evo? Or the standard propshaft from ayc Evo will work? Cheers.

All subframes are meant to be the same.

As for the prop you will probably need the rs diff. Wanted one for my 8 and was told I may need the rs diff.

Thanks mate. I just confirmed that my standard propshaft will work just fine. Cheers.

Hi.

Sorry for getting back to you so late.

Yes, the stock Prop Shaft will do the job.

With your kit, there should be:

Rear Differential
Rear Sub Frame
NSR Complete Drive Shaft with CV Joint
OSR Complete Drive Shaft with CV Joint

Maybe some bolts too if you're lucky.

I suggest that you remove the CV Joints and swap them for your old ones, otherwise the ABS Light will stay on all the time..... :sneaky:
