Evo 8 rear spoiler

Hi guys has anyone taken paint off there spoilers to carbon underneath if so any pics cheers

You referring to the cover plates on the inner edge of the uprights ?

Does that mean my uprights on the outside are carbon. My innards and blade r carbon but outsides are silver

I can't see any weave but I shouldn't though should i? If the laquer is packed well and with a coat of paint would be invisible. If its deffo carbon ill have a go at that

i could see the patten on mine so i just went with it and had a go yours is prob the same mine is a fq300 if that makes a difrence

Mines the same mate fq300 ill have a closer look.at my spoiler, I wanted to spray my sides black at some point so if it doesn't go to plan ill just spray it. What you using wet and dry?

2000 grit wet and dry mate then polish

Just the 1 grade? Think I have some of that hmmmm.

To remove the spoiler isn't there double sided tape and a few bolts and how long has it taken to remove the paint roughly

Not long i have left spoiler on for now , to take spoiler off its 4 bolts and tape yeah

I had a look earlier while filling with fuel and couldn't c any weave might just start takin it back and hop for the best
