Hi Guys,

So I have now fitted the full HKS hard pipes as per last post - Managed to install the "breather" filter as per suggestions.

And finally got the correct "Mikalor" clamp to hold the pipes onto the Throttle body - so no longer blowing the pipe of uder boost.

A quick one for you guys now.....

When running my higher mapping -400Bhp , and giving it beans, i find that in 3rd and some times 4th gear, the car seems to hold the revs when going for a gear change,.. then the HKS SSQ Bov vents and it goes down to normal RPM.

My question is... is this something I can adjust on the BOV? is it the BOV causing this?... the bleed pipe is very tight from the top of the BOV to the enigine block... could this be too tight and thus not flowing?

Any help appreciated

Izi

newer hks ssqv have no adjustment to them.

sounds like the throttle is sticking if the rev's dont drop off, dv wouldnt cause this. soon as the throttle body closes the dv will release due to the pressure drop in the manifold..

start with the throttle cable / throttle body
