sorry but i must of missed something quickly reading through the thread, in your reply to me you said you are running a turbo honda civic running 350bhp then later you say you have a 350z, a cosworth and a focus? or are they your mates cars? my advice is to go along to the mlr sprints and sign up for passenger laps, go out in peoples cars that have the sort of power you want and talk to them about it, 350bhp in a honda civic is different from a 400bhp evo. you also have to see what suits you, do you like reving the nuts off the car or prefer a more lazy style........going by the honda civic type r id say reving the nuts off it, are you gonna drive the car to shows and events? if so when do you want the boost to kick in? do you want the power band low to mid or mid to high? i think you need to talk to as many peeps as you can and get an idea of what you are expecting and how you drive and also stick to a plan dont change it cause someone else has it etc. can you use standard parts to get the power or does all of the bit have to be uprated? you will be surprised that some standard bits are up to the job.

for what your after i would say 400/400 is more than enough, i think you will be surprised at the way the Evo puts that power down, you may find that your friends will be trying to keep up with you.

Hi and welcome to the Forum buddy!!!

Please update your User Profile to include your Location.

yeah i am def sure it will out handle all of them and the cosworth is a serria so it rwd not 4wd which is good. what do u think it would do in a straight line against the others would i come last with 400/400

There is much you have to learn buddy! ;)

400/400 is an adequate amount of power and will see off most cars, especially Type R's and those that you have listed already.

Which particular turbo do you have that has achieved 350BHP at .5 bar on the Type R???

Post some pics up of the engine bay, I am quite interested!!! :D
