Evo 8 issue!

Going to buy a evo 8 tomorrow, apparently the guy said there's an issue with the g sensor? He said that occasionally the Tarmac snow and gravel lights stay on all together then all go off,

Is this something I should worry about?

If so il walk away.

Yes it is! AYC problems mate is never good or cheap!

Search the web for ayc faults mate. It's not good.

There is also a thread on here from a member that's just had it happen to him.

I pulled my ayc pump off today after flashing out code 82 I got a nakard motor and corroded pump. Take a little bit of wire with you and under the steering wheel you will see the oebd plug, bridge pins 1 and 4 (only count where the pins actually are) and turn the ignition on and count the flashes I the ayc lights, long flashes are tens quick flashes are units for example 8 long flashes 2 quick flashes is 82. If its a pump fault get him to knock 600 quid off the price of the car and have it refurbished.

They are getting to that age now where the ayc is becoming a problem, and mitsi dropped a bollock by putting it behind a sodding wheel catchin all the shite from the roads
