evo 8 help please

hey everyone

right ive had a big problem with my evo, took it to get a power run & ended up finding out it was putting too much boost in that could blow the engine, so they cancelled my power run as it was a risk of blowing up, so found out my blitz dual-sbc controller was faulty, i bought a turbosmart off them & had it fitted which was £420 :meh: but they are saying it will need remapping again? is that true as its already been mapped & for another map it over £400 :sad: is this true or am i having my pants pulled down & the new boost controller just needs setting up?

Yes they are trying to pull your pants down. I wouldn't trust them anymore an take the car elsewhere !!

i thought they was, i didn't think it would need mapping again! thanks for the reply, i just need my new turbosmart boost controller setting up as my evo is not running right. On the dyno before it said it was only running at 294bhp but the lad who owned it before said it was roughly 400bhp so hoping when we get the turbosmart set up it will put it all back right
