Hello to you all thanks for reading lets hope u can put some light on a few probs I'm faced with. I have a evo 8 fq300 uk car. Problem one I have is that when driving if I clutch the car to come to a stop the car nearly dies and stools and some times does stool. Starts straigh back up with no problems just is a little annoying as u can imagin. Problem no2 which could be corsed by my other problem is that it runs really lumpy and splutters when I start. Worst in cold weather. Any one had these problems befor. Many many thanks. Had car plugged in with no faults on Ecu

Do you have an aftermarket dump valve? Sounds like the is an air leak in front of the maf somwhere!

More often than not a dump valve is to blame!

Not sure about the bad starting but the stalling is likely to be the dump valve. It seems on the standard valve some stall and some don't. My VIII did this too and, to be honest, it's pretty dangerous. Changed to an aftermarket valve and the stalling stopped.

Bet its a hks dump valve on it they cause no end of issues when dropping off the revs..that or there is an air leak. As said above
