evo 8 gsr revs wavering up and down under 1000 rpm then cutting out until heated up

Ive got a evo 8 gsr and after i reved highly last night in first gear and lifted the clutch the car only moved about 10 ft until i dipped the clutch again then the smell of the clutch burning was really bad. So i drove it pretty hard for 15 munuites then let it cool for 10 then turned it off. When i come back to start it an hour later it sounded really weak and was nearly cutting out until it heated up after driving it for 20 mins then it was ok and sat just over 1000rpm. When i started it in thé morning still has same problem only it actually sounded worse and Did cut out until it heated up then it was ok. What could this be any help is much appreciated. Could have blown a boost pipe/vacuum pipe off or somthing, I had a similar problem (ie erratic Reving and cutting out) when I put on a dump valve, has yours got a recirc valve or dump?

Its a recirc valve i Thought it might have been a pipe or something because when im on boost it Sounds alot louder

No not a pipe checked all pipes this morning all ok and its still boosting to 1.8 bar

Check intercooler pipe and spark plugs/coils

What's it like on Idle when it's warm? And has it been modified?
