Think they are all the same mate 6/7/8/9 I know the mr has different cams

heres a good thread with pics about the alterations to pistons/rods over the years.

late evo 7 piston/rods onwards seem to be the better ones.

weird after reading that thread seem that the rod's are all the same and only the piston design changed yet 6 owner's change rod's at say 380 but 8's and 9's will go to 400 safe ish lol. And my 4 rod's are the same as e 567 one's and may be 8's and 9's to.:wtf:

Hi guys, n00b question, I have an Evo 4 (CN9A) can I fit Evo VIII pistons in it? What else would it be necessary for them to work on a CN9A engine? Thanks in advance, tried looking and reading but no exact answer per-se
