Hi guys, had new clutch fitted on evo and a service of all fluids, car drives bloody lovely however sometimes it doesn't want to go into 1st or reverse

It's as if the clutch is not dress engaging fully as the car tries to pull forward or back slightly when you try it in 1st and reverse

Is this the slave cylinder possibly? It didn't do it before although it was a little notchy(very slightly) I am thinking due to the new clutch having lots more material it's now made an issue I already had more noticeable as it's got more bite now, clutch was changed due to my old one slipping.

Any help would be much appreciated thanks :)

Make sure it's bled well and maybe adjust the peddle a tad.

The pedal is attached to a threaded bracket thing, remove the pin and wind in and out this will adjust the rest position of the pedal, You can also adjust the "pre-load" (for lack of a better word) this adjusts how much load is on the clutch before you press is, again this is a threaded bar with a lock nut that can be wound in and out. I think it's that way round but anyway use those two to adjust the pedal positon and travel. It's fairly straightforward if you can position yourself in the footwell!
