evo 8 boost issue..

Hi guys! My E8 have always been boosting 1 to 1,1 bar..
But now when i Took it for a first spin 2014.. its boosting like crazy
To 1,8 bar and then cuts the power ... like boost cut... I put in a manual
Boostcontroller to lower the boost.. and nothing happens at all...

Is my WG maby ****ed up??

I'd say so yes. Probably stuck closed. You can try blowing into the actuator via vac pipe. If you can with no resistance it's fubard

You'd be better of fitting a new actuator which runs 0.8 bar and let the solenoid do what it's suppose to. Or fit a 3 port as well and get it remapped to suit

Certainly will get boost cut at 1.8 bar :whistling:

As said check the waste gate or if there is any serious air leaks.
