Dont see the problem with 260's tbh they seem like really good cars even if "its not an evo", Still a good car or would anyone on here prefer an subaru because i would'nt. I dont really like Vectra's much.

i have a 260, well its a 342 now.
woah big deal if they start out restricted.
same car once you get all the restrictions off and have a tune up.

Sounds like a better car to me, you would have to be daft to buy a 300 just for an extra 40 bhp and a big spoiler when you could buy a 260 and have more power and a big spoiler put on for about 400quid and save loads plus less tax and better fuel eco because of the remap.
Surely anyone with any brains can see that.

its cost me around 2k for the extra 80bhp.
its sounds and drives so much better now.
some days i want a bigger spoiler and some i think its just a little different with the smaller one.
its upto the individual, they are all good cars in there own way.

My tax is only 118 for 6 months no buggy there. And for the extra 80 horses although I havnt completed it yet its only costing me about 400 quid

So how much bhp would a 1st stage remap get you on a 260?
I would of thought it would take it to 310/320 and thats without touching the exhaust.

You source the prices upon preference and budget but your lookin at 2 decats boost controller of some description fuel pump and a map from the place of your choice and air intake

If you want to save money get a tomi they look really good come with I think 300bhp and look nice or alternatively get a evo6 they good for 260-280bhp stock??
