Evo 8 260 exhaust?

Hi everyone,
just bought an evo 8 gsr 260. dont really know anything about them!
im after making it sound a bit better,, will a cat back system fit as i have read a few places that say they will and some say they dont??

Whats the best thing to do? dont want to spend an £1000s on full systems etc

the 260 system is very restrictive, so id get a decat and a true 3" system and youll be good then,

iv got a 260 and run a decat and a true 3" system sounds great

the 260 cat has different flange mount orientations, so you'll have to get a specific 260 cat back system, but as frankie said you'd be better off replacing the hole thing from the turbo elbow back, and then that way you can use any evo 8 exhaust system

I have a apexi downpipe meant for a 260.. Came with a magnex catback system and its no use to me.. Least it gets rid of the first cat.

Sorry for late reply mate had a mental one at wrk

If I remember rightly its 2.75 diameter, I wil measure it as soon as I get in to double check and il take a couple of pics to upload, like I say never been fitted as I bought it and changed my mind to something else haha so it's just laying around doing nothing, it's even fully exhaust wrapped lol
