evo 8 260 de-cat

i have Evo 8 260 and am thinking of de-cating it
its standard downpipe, with HKS superdragger cat - back system
just wondering what de-cat will fit and if the sensor will trigger the engine management light on the car, presumig there is a sensor on the cat

the 260's have a slightly different orient to the bolt holes, you'd have to replace the downpipe and decat then you can fit any

as for the o2 sensor keep it wired up but cable tie it to the body some where as you might have problems later down the line as its needed for starting up the car and that so ive been told

if you've got access to a geekmapped you can disable it really easily then you can remove the whole sensor , its used to check the front cat and make sure its working correctly not starting, if you remove it you'll get an error light on, but nothing to worth about
