Evo 8 20g conversion

Hi guys has any 1 had 20g conversion and what are your thoughts

Hi mate I've got a 9 turbo on my 8 that has a 20g conversion on it, it's doesn't come on till just after 3k but pulls very strong all the way to red line

i got a 20g on my e4 as above take longer to spool but comes on strong all the way to the rev limit i did prefer the smaller turbo for town driving but cant beat this for over taking . 400+ bhp @ 1.6 bar with supporting mods .

Depends on the 8 if its an mr it would be an ideal mod and will get close to the 400bhp mark.

Without replacing the cams lol

Not nesserseraly, my mates 260 turbo that we just put a 10.5 housing on just made 415bhp with a stack of torque

Cams as well though

I meant with only doing stage one mods replacing the cams is the way to defiantly make the 400 mark without generous rollers lol.

Sorry I should have made it more clear what I meant . I know with cams it will make over 400bhp

Evo 8 260 with a 10.5 housing, hks 272 cams dialled in with pullys and a set of HD springs and retainers and you wouldn't beleve it, it just kept giving.
Made 360ftlb torque at the wheels and only 1.70 bar boost

That's not bad mate.. Top cams them Don't need to replace the springs with the hks cams. Dropped mine straight in.

That's an epic amount of torque!

Makes me want another run lol.

Yea your right you don't have to fit springs but as you can see, it helps
