Evo 7 Problem Ayc/diff/?

Hi, when slowing down in my evo 7 it sounds like the brake shoes are shoot,
but this with out me touching the brakes, if i knock it out of gear it makes the same noise,could it be the AYC or Diff?
Can anyone help please.

are all 3 light's on the acd on? Check out your disc's have a good look behind the disc's! Check pad's to. Also try going in a car park full lock turn drive round see if you hear any knock's. Hope fully its not the diff or ayc

hi as the gooner8 has said check the brakes and if the noise is comming from the rear remember that there are seporate hand brakes shoes and springs that can feck up and grind away behind the rear disc/drum .


try and find a local garage that will pop it up on a 2 post ramp and have a propper look

The brakes were all done two months ago.
if you slow down with out touching the brakes you can still hear the
grinding noise, the same with the clutch pushed down,so not g/box

it really could be so many thing's were you based? Find some one good to take a look for you, just thought if it was the rear diff you're have a fault code, well lights on the dash coz of the acd! Is it from the back? Maybe transfer box? Check us up updated tho fella.
