Evo 7 no spark or fuel pump not kicking in, engine cranks but does not start!

Hi,

My evo 7 was running fine untill the this morning i started it and it cut out after 5 seconds, then it would not start

The engine cranks, all electics works, but it will not start!
There is no spark from the plugs, and the fuel pump is not kicking in, i have tested the fuel pump and that works fine.

I have checked all relays and fuse´s they all seem ok.



I´m thinking to get a crank angle sensor? but not sure if it is the issue.
( is there any way of checking)

It would be much appricated if anybody could help me out.

If you have a multi meter, disconnect the air flow meter plug then put you negative lead onto the negative of the battery, put your ignition on then probe the connector terminals, you need to have a 12v feed and a 5v feed

the 12v feed is ignition power and the 5v feed is the ecu power, no 12v feed you need to check main relay for power, no 5v feed you need to check ecu for power

Also if you have an after market immobilizer then it could be a fault with this
