Evo 7, no spark , no fuel pump , engine cranks but does not start!

Hi,

My evo 7 was running fine untill the this morning i started it and it cut out after 5 seconds, then it would not start

The engine cranks, all electics works, but it will not start!
There is no spark from the plugs, and the fuel pump is not kicking in, i have tested the fuel pump and that works fine.

I have checked all relays and fuse´s they all seem ok.

I´m thinking to get a crank angle sensor? but not sure if it is the issue.
( is there any way of checking)

It would be much appricated if anybody could help me out.

Can you pin out pins 1 and 4 on the OBD and put the fault codes up mate?

Sounds like it could be the imobiliser !!!

this sounds very simular to some one on here who broke there balance shaft belt and it took out the crank sensor :O(

Hi, i had exact same problem mate, it was my crank shaft sensor. I have one for sale if u need one as im breaking my evo

All sorted now, i'm going to sound like a right idiot saying this but it was just a engine fuse which blew,

I tested all the sensor's and read the whole lancer workshop manual :arms:

Was pulling my hair out for days thinking what it could be haha.
