evo 6 owners please need advise

I am the new owner of a mint white evo 6 which i love but i have an isue with the gear change it dosent feel realy smooth like i expected it to feel like it has 43000 miles and servise history to, is it a simple problem like gear box oil or could it be more serious or is it how a standard box feels please some advise from someone

Change the oil for some Silkolene shockproof oil
