Evo 6 limits

How much power can I get out of an evo 6 gsr engine with standard internals?

With supporting mods of course

But I'd like to keep reliability of both the engine and drivetrain

depends on state of engine, the mileage,health of engine i.e. compression
350 is safe enough

Hi, my 6 has been running 375 bhp safely, had no probs ,touch wood. Been mapped by an expert in this field. It is understood that the quality of map is important , torque delivery etc.

not all engines are the same,some engines will 'map' better than others luck of the draw !!!!
my old e6 made more than my current e6 same supporting mods, same mapper aka mr norton

That's very true liffy. When Jamie mapped mine we where expecting 350 bhp . got 375. We both didn't expect that. Why would engines differ?

I have evo 5 running 402.9bhp at 1.5bar and had no problems
and my mate has a 6 at 380 again no probs

cannot explain that one,theories being less blow past on rings ,i.e. compression ,turbo worn out?
dont think the mappers can explain it fully or they dont want to tell you your engines slack lol!
