evo 6 forge engine advise please

Hi

Bit of background about be. I have had 2 evo 4's before in the past but then i had an audi for a while. I have just bought a white evo six that has a fully forged engine and all sorts toys which makes it up to 430 bph.

The engine sounds slightly knocky like the big ends bin told thatforge engines sound noisey anyway is true?

Yeah thats true, you can get a bit of piston slap when cold. Do you still hear a noise when its fully warmed up?

My Fully forged engine was done a 1100 miles ago and is slight with no noisy's what so ever! If i was you i would have that looked at asap!

As mario says. There should be no noises even if its been forged. A properly built and run in engine, whatever the components should not make undue noises. Piston slap from a forged engine even from cold meens its not been run in properly. You shouldn't have to wait till its warmed up to lose the noises. Same with the myth of all forged engines use oil more than std engines. If they've been run in properly this won't happen.

Any engine shouldn't be noisy, strip it down before you cause real damage
