I bought a 6 ecu from martinevo and had Gary from APT fit but it won't run my evo 4 Gary think its been mapped with big injectors so I need
Martinevo contact details so can get more info on it

If it's been ecutek'd then can it be locked? I know if it was done with ecuflash then it wouldn't have been n Gary should be straight in. I have a 5 ecu here if you need it to get you out if a muddle?

just gutted a member on here sells something saying its plug n go then its not and wont reply to my pm's I don't want to bitch just want to find out what map is on it or its gonna cost£500 to map instead of £150

It might be a case of that he didn't know it was locked tbh. Has your car now had the flash wire connected (78/75 or something)?

Is the car now at yours? I could swing by in the week maybe?

i never tried to connect, i fitted a std evo 6 ecu and it runs fine. with this ecu fitted it would barley start, my question was does it have a ecutek license on it or was it just flashed

If its ecutek you can still read the ecu to see whats what. but either way just remap it with ecuflash (no cost difference to mapping a standard ecu).

I recommend the op goes to someone who does use ecuflash then as it's wasted money on ecutek imo.

I'll stick it in my tme this week and see if it's been flashed Gary. At least Lee will be able to give you a definite answer then. If it has been, I'll put a standard map on it so he can get back to you.

sounds good tom, my guess is map on it is for 750cc injectors, either way for us to map it he'll need a ecutek license,
