So getting propper pissed off now, cant release the clutch release bearing from inside the gear box  been on it for hours trying to lever the bearing off but it just wont release from the pressure plate ffs!

Any one have any tips, thought about undoing the pressure plate through the gear box but cant get any purchase on the bolts due the fork being in the sodding way!

Dont really know what to do with it, any one localish with experience of installing clutches i would much appreciate some help would pay fuel ect

Let me know :D

You can access where the clutch fork is long flat screwdriver and a torch, shine inside and the screwdriver goes in between the ring and bearing. Push the fork towards the passenger side, twist the screwdriver a lil, an push the fork towards driver side, pull out screwdriver and the clutch is disengaged,

So you have to wiggle the fork back wards and forwards while screw driving the bearing then? or fork pushed/held to the right only?

Insert screwdriver move fork to right twist screwdriver and move screwdriver to left, (it will stop when it hits the screwdriver) pull screwdriver straight out and fork will fall all the way to the left and will be disengaged. No wiggling mate as it won't help matters

If you were local I would pop and do it for you it takes a few seconds, I pigged around on mine before and done robs a few weeks ago in a matter of moments, even accidentally engaged the things again undone it and undone again to show rob how it's done. Just follow the steps I say and watching the video will put into perspective what I'm on about

Lads ive seen all the vids of how to do it ect, it appears the fork has jammed though, ive had the screw driver up there again and again as has my old man and a mate who is a mechanic also, it will just not pop out of the pressure plate!

It's just the technique, it won't be jammed it has to be compressed toe the ring to let go of the thrust, and that's where the screwdriver dislodges it

It will pop out with a pry bar or long screwdriver but make sure the box is still attached to the engine. Failing that remove the clutch with allen socket and replace the bolts as you wont get on them square.

its just one of those jobs you will regret starting ;) you can be lucky and it will pop out on trouble or you could be really unlucky and the thing just wont more! took hours to get the one out of mine.

push clutch is the way to go :)
