Evo 6 Bonnet Vent Removal ?

Hi All,

As title really, had a look at removing mine last night to give it a clean up/spray but couldnt figure out how to remove it without breaking stuff :hm:

Was trying to remove the large flat head plastic screws that hold the slotted vent in but all they were doing was turning ? Didnt want to break anything so thought id ask first.

Also, how do the clips come out that hold the bonnet heat shield in ?

Put a screw driver or a knife underneath the clips to put a little upwards pressure on them when turning.
Never had a problem getting mine off.

I've never taken the bonnet heat shield off so can't help you there.
