I'm sure camskill do them, genuine ones too. Replacement isn't too hard but you'd need to have the old ones pressed out and new pressed in.

Yeah hub off as its mounted in/ on the bottom of the hub.

On my 5 it's a totally different set up the joint is part of the arm!

Heya DDS789,

I just went through MOT, but they said my "Front lower (both) Front suspension ball joint dust covers damaged, but preventing the ingress of dirt"

However I've been hearing a noise ever since.

For an Evo 5 I saw our arms on camskill, is the joint dust cover included? From what I've read, it's better to just replace our arms since the labour is the same?

Unless the lower arm is the cause of your noise I wouldnt be spending nearly £180 + labour on a £2 dust cover :razz:

Chances are that if it were bad enough to cause a noise the play in the joint should have been picked up on the mot anyway, what kind of noise is it?

Yeah I figured as much anyway! Gonna just get the bushes replaced, it's really a faint noise coming from the passenger side. I'll see how it goes afterwards :)

If that doesn't fix the noise, I'll have more information later!
