hi all
i have an evo 4 and lately when driven hard and a 1000 revs before the red on the gauge the car starts to miss like the rev limiter is on but isn't what could this be i run it on normal unleaded and its an import any advice appreciated thanks mel

not to sure why its happened, but you should only use super unleaded on all imports, i stick to super unleaded on all turbocharged cars personally.

with standard ecu's you should be running on vpower or tesco 99 only!


....is it a missfire you have? if so check your spark plug gaps.

as above you should run any performance car on super unleaded as its higher octane and you can get the most of the engine while keeping reliabilty. what mods does the car have and when was it last serviced?

thanks have changed to super unleaded and changed plugs and leads and oil running great now
